Video Premiere | RALPH TV shares cosmic new video for "Fast Lane"

Our favourite UK Dream Pop quartet Ralph TV has been sharing unique videos from the start in 2017, taking viewers on captivating journeys with each new piece of content. Today, we are thrilled to exclusively premiere their brand new and cosmic video for their latest single, "Fast Lane."

This psychedelic video continues on the same journey of their whimsical and lo-fi aesthetic captured so perfectly in their past videos. It tells the story of a TV scientist (played by Christian Andrews) as he conducts experiments based on the concepts of momentum and energy.

The storytelling in this video is phenomenal, instantly intriguing the viewer from the beginning with some randomized clips and a hilarious intro. While following the story of the TV scientist, they still seamlessly include band members in some 80's inspired aesthetic clips. This video was directed by Molly Osborne (sister of vocalist/bassist Will) who has previously directed their video for '4 U'

As for the track, it is a euphoric combination of lush harmonies, emotive 80s inspired synths and shuffling guitars layered over a rhythm section laden with groove. The band continues with their DIY production aesthetic, but have incorporated wall of sound techniques displayed in the chorus.

RALPH TV has emerged strongly onto the UK Indie scene since forming in 2017. They have been endorsed by Annie Mac as one of her 'New Names' on BBC Radio One, featuring twice as one of Jack Saunders' 'Next Wave' artists and receiving further radio support from the likes of Huw Stephens and Gemma Bradley. Publications like Wonderland,DIY, Clash, and more have praised their charming and eccentric brand of Indie Pop and queer conscious lyricism.

I will totally be bumping this feel-good track all summer long. This is also just the first glimpse of their upcoming LP 'Cruise Control', a concept album revolving around a cosmic road trip in a post pandemic world- I can't wait!
